It would be beneficial for the author and subject to meet to conduct the preliminary interview.  This would also be an ideal opportunity for the client to view some of the books Mage has thus far produced.  At this stage, a non-refundable commissioning deposit of £1,500 would be required, with the full balance due at the completion of the first draft.
